In this blogpost, we give a sneak peek into the future, by bringing insights on new innovations Adobe is still working on in their labs – before making it generally available to us.
It’s clear that they are betting big on Generative AI – in all areas of their products. Not only innovating the products themselves but also making (boring and tedious) tasks easier.
Project Stardust: Revolutionizing Photo Editing
Project Stardust is set to transform the way we think about digital imagery. With its advanced capabilities, users can manipulate objects and people within a photo. Think about resizing a person or swapping the order of a group photo completely.
It does this while seamlessly maintaining the integrity of the background and the interaction of adjacent elements. Whenever you re-position a (part of) an object, background needs to be filled in – clothing needs to be added etc. Project Stardust will do that on the fly and without any manual intervention, using Adobe’s generative fill – taking photo editing to another level, especially for individuals that aren’t Photoshop experts.
Project Perfect Plays: Automating Campaign Strategies
Adobe is tapping into AI to automate the generation of marketing campaigns. This new tool will be able to designs detailed personas, segment them, and craft a full campaign strategy across multiple marketing channels and all stages of the marketing funnel.
It incorporates key performance indicators, ensuring that each campaign is not only creative but also results-driven. Aimed at both creativity and process optimization, this tool will change the time for setting up a marketing campaign from weeks to days or hours.
Project Get Personal: Dynamic Media Customization
Through Dynamic Media, Adobe is enabling hyper-personalized content at scale. In combination with the aforementioned Project Stardust, it allows for dissecting a single image into multiple layers and customization of key elements (like color or text) on those layers itself via parameterization, all at scale.
Combining this with Customer data and direct integration into Journey Optimizer, this enables brands to deliver uniquely personalized experiences to their customers.
Project “Ready, Click – Go!” : Streamlining Digital Experience set-ups
Project “Ready, Click – Go!” leverages generative AI to simplify the process of building and deploying Digital Experiences on top of Adobe Experience Cloud.
With a short prompt, it is capable of creating a website from scratch on top of Adobe Experience Manager and connect this website with Adobe’s Real-Time CDP for customer segmentation, Adobe Journey optimizer for marketing campaigns and Customer Journey Analytics for insights. All aspects are pre-configured for optimal performance, enabling businesses to launch new Digital Experiences with minimal set-up time and at scale.
Project Brand Slam: Ensuring Brand Consistency
Adobe’s AI-driven tool assesses content within Journey Optimizer against brand guidelines, providing scores and suggesting adjustments in real-time to ensure that all communications are not only on-brand but also optimized for performance.
On top of brand guidelines, this technology also proposes new layouts for enhanced content structuring within created content like emails, allowing for a better user experience and conversion. Think about this as a similar tool like Powerpoint’s Slide Designer – but for Marketing content!
Project Promo Mojo: Integrating Influencer Marketing
Adobe’s new platform aims to forge stronger connections between brands and content creators/influencers. It introduces capabilities for seamlessly integrating marketing messages into influencers’ content using AI-generated voice or video.
Marketeers can create (social) media campaigns with a desired message, timing and channel (podcast, video, blog, …).
The platform will search for content that can support that campaign and will provide a ranked list to the marketeer.
When selecting the right content creator and content from that creator, Adobe will automatically search for the right place to enter the message into the content and will generate a preview to be reviewed.
After approval from both the Marketeer and Content Creator, the campaign message will be injected seamlessly into the content itself, using AI voice cloning/generation and video generation as if the content creator was bringing the message him/herself!
While this project is aimed to bridge the gap between marketeers and influencers – we still think that this is primarily focused at the marketeers and this might be a bridge too far for content creators to allow the creation of a Digital Twin.
Furthermore, it will limit their creativity to inject the campaign message in the style of their channel. Time will tell if we’re wrong about this.
Project Mighty Micro: Tailoring B2B Marketing
Dedicated to enhancing B2B engagement, this initiative allows for the quick creation of microsites that deliver personalized content to different buyer groups, dynamically updating to reflect ongoing interactions and even post-sale engagement – creating true personalized experiences, regardless of where the customers are in their buying journey.
Project Infographic: Instant Infographic Creation
Finally, Adobe is making data visualization more accessible with AI that can instantly generate infographics from a dataset based on user prompts, allowing for customization of content types and styles.
Key Takeaway
Across all these innovations, the common denominator is Adobe’s strategic integration of AI to enhance personalization, efficiency, and scalability in digital content creation and campaign management. Adobe is clearly betting big on AI, allowing automation of complex processes, ensuring brand consistency, and enabling personalized customer interactions at scale, all while maintaining high standards of creativity and effectiveness.
The future shines bright for these AI solutions – and if one or more innovations actually reach the market, they will be game-changers!
