Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at we+, you’ll play a critical role in driving growth by connecting with prospects and introducing them to our exceptional IT consultancy portfolio. You’ll use platforms like HubSpot, LinkedIn, and Cognism to execute impactful campaigns and nurture relationships, bridging the gap between our expertise and the needs of our customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Lead Generation, Networking & Brand Representation: You know how to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients or partners. You attend industry events, trade shows, and networking events to establish connections with senior management and C-level attendees. You leverage LinkedIn as well as phone & email for prospecting and outreach. You promote we+’s vision and expertise through various events, webinars, and industry symposia.
+ Campaign Strategy & Execution: In collaboration with sales and marketing colleagues, you support and execute campaigns focused on growth across various domains such as CX, e-commerce solutions, Application Development, Project Delivery, Cloud & Infra, and Data & Innovation.
+ Customer Qualification & Solution Matching: From a good understanding of the respective goals and challenges, you identify and qualify potential customers and stakeholders. You engage creatively with prospects to align their needs with our offerings. By cross-selling relevant services and products by leveraging the broader ecosystem of brands within Alan Allman Associates.
+ Relationship Building: Through a perfect mix of online and offline touch points, you foster meaningful discussions and connect the right colleagues with prospects and customers at the optimal time.
+ Follow-Up & After-Sales: You ensure continuous engagement and satisfaction post-sale. You act as a point of contact to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Risk Assessment & Reporting: You evaluate risks associated with new business opportunities and propose mitigation strategies to minimise financial or operational risks. You maintain clear and concise reporting on activities and outcomes and keep track of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development efforts.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
+ Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in software engineering, IT, or a related technical/marketing domain.
+ Experience: At least 3 - 5 years in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
+ Technical Expertise: Proven experience generating business within the enterprise segment, particularly in software solutions or services covering one or more of the following domains: CX, e-commerce solutions, Application Development, Project Delivery, Cloud & Infra, and Data & Innovation.
+ Networking Skills: Ability to develop and sustain relationships with stakeholders at management and board levels.
+ Languages: Professional proficiency in English, with Dutch and/or French being highly advantageous.
+ Tech-Savviness: Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot) and prospecting platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, MeetAlfred, Lusha, Cognism, MeetAlfred, ...).
